He might be most famous for his minimalist designs, but Swiss designer Rolf Sachs has certainly added a lot of colour to the smart fortwo sprinkle.
With his customary flair, world-famous designer Sachs, son and heir of the wealthy industrialist Gunter Sachs, has used a white smart car as his blank canvas. Sachs is also well-known for his love of crazy splashes in vibrant colours, often starting with an unconventional white background, using a distinctive technique that creates a real impact.
This fresh, urban marking technique using vivid greens, blues and yellows worked perfectly on the crisp, white smart fortwo. Sachs has explored this outrageous use of colour across the whole smart, even including the white rims and the interior, so smart fortwo sprinkle is a truly conceptual piece.
The smart fortwo sprinkle by Rolf Sachs is currently on display at this year's Geneva Motor Show, taking the smart slogan ‘open your mind' to a whole new level.
Sachs and smart are a perfect creative partnership. They're both passionate about new ideas, living life to the full and acting responsibly towards the environment. The smart fortwo sprinkle is sure to bring all these colourful elements to the 80th international Geneva Motor Show, from 4th to 14th March, celebrating the very latest in all things automotive.
